That’s the principle I bring to every Harmony basement. I personally walk every site, guide every rough-in, and approve every final detail — because perfection is personal.
I founded Harmony Basements in 2012 after seeing too many homeowners deal with the consequences of poor planning, weak technical understanding, and sales-driven renovation practices. Long before construction begins, most projects are already compromised — and no level of craftsmanship can correct a flawed design.
My background is in architecture, layout design, and the technical detailing required to build it properly. After earning my Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University, I relocated to the Greater Toronto Area in 2008, where it became clear how rare disciplined, design-driven renovation truly was.
Harmony Basements was built to operate differently.
Every project is carefully planned before construction begins. I personally review each layout, resolve structural and mechanical challenges, and remain involved through all critical stages of the build. My experience coordinating HVAC modifications, structural constraints, and building systems allows our team to deliver solutions many contractors dismiss as “not possible” — simply because they were never properly designed in the first place.
To bring clarity to the process, I introduced a fully immersive design and virtual walkthrough experience — allowing homeowners to understand and refine their space before construction begins.
From day one, every project is fully designed and scoped, with a permit-ready plan and transparent, itemized pricing. This eliminates guesswork, reduces costly changes, and ensures every decision is intentional.
By the time we start building, everything that matters is already figured out.
Execution is just as important. Over the years, I’ve carefully built relationships with a trusted group of trade partners — professionals who are highly skilled in their craft and share the same standards for quality and accountability.
It’s not about finding trades for a job. It’s about working with the right people, consistently, to deliver results that hold up over time.

At your home or at our Vaughan design centre. No obligation, and no commissioned sales rep. The person who designs your basement also prices it and prepares the permit drawings, so nothing gets lost between people.

We call you
At a time that suits you, to set the session and hear what you have in mind.

We measure and listen
We measure the basement and see what the house will allow; you tell us how you want to use it. Then we draw every layout it can have, and you pick one.

You have the price before we leave
Before the visit ends, you have a line-by-line price for the layout you picked, written against a detailed drawing, electrical and HVAC included. The 3D model and the 360° VR walkthrough let you see it before you sign. Within 24 hours of your go-ahead, that same drawing becomes part of the permit package we prepare and submit.
